At Trident Jewels Private Limited, our craft is a seamless blend of heritage and innovation. Every piece we create showcases meticulous attention to detail—from the careful selection of materials to the masterful artistry of our skilled artisans. Craftsmenship
The Mangalsutra manufacturing process begins in the Melting Department, where pure gold is melted and combined with silver and copper alloys to create 22kt gold for wire drawing. The Gold Cutting Department then draws the wire into various gauges and forms beads, pendants, chains, and hooks. Skilled karigars in the Bharni Department perform initial assembly by combining gold and black beads, which are then passed on to the Assembly Department for soldering and design implementation. Laser soldering follows, attaching hooks and refining details before polishing and cutting perfect the piece in the Polishing Department. Finally, the Admin & Quality Control team counts and tags the mangalsutras, ensuring every product meets the highest standards before dispatch.

V spring
V-spring design has its own unique look as the black bead in the mangalsutra is held by a gold wire on the outside that forms a V.
2000
Chotla
It is one of the best design concepts that we created during the early years of Trident Jewels, this was inspired by a women’s braided hair style Known as chotla in hindi and is named after it. Gold beads and black beads are interlocked in a similar manner.
2010
Studded Stones
Casting pendants with studded stones have been used by all gold ornaments but we were the first ones to make a move by using them in Mangalsutra designs.
2017
Nano
They are thin leaflets which we interlinked with black beads and used it as a part of the chain section in our Mangalsutra. We laser solder each link to achieve perfection.
2020
Antique
Heritage neckpieces known as antique jewellery have always been a big part of Indian Jewellery. So we tried to create mangalsutra which holds the sacred bond of marriage as well as looks like an antique neck piece.
2025
Turkey
The design team sourced casting pieces during an exhibition in turkey and the specialty of the casting is capturing smallest and the most delicate details and hence in the mangalsutra which we use turkey parts we call them turkish design.
